Eric J. Kownacki

Mr. Kownacki joined Dominus Capital in 2020 and currently serves as an Operating Advisor. Prior to joining Dominus, Mr. Kownacki was the CEO of Balboa Water Group, a leading manufacturer of customized, critical components for the portable spa ("hot tub"), jetted bath ("jacuzzi" and "whirlpool" bath) and other adjacent markets. Prior to his role with Balboa Water Group, Mr. Kownacki served as the CEO of Polaris Pool Systems, a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of branded automatic swimming pool cleaners and other swimming pool automation, maintenance, and decoration products. Over the course of his CEO roles, Mr. Kownacki has completed over 25 acquisitions while managing and transitioning 5 companies through successful exit processes. He also has significant experience growing and expanding businesses internationally having done so across Europe and Australia. Mr. Kownacki received a BS degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Washington.
